This park is very big full of beautiful wild life, and many things to do,a lot of shade and campsites are big and have their own picnic table and fire pits, the only reason I don't give 5 stars is the bathrooms and showers are probably clean once a day and not too good of a cleaning, other than that it's really relaxing.

This park offers some of the best camping in Florida.

We enjoyed full hookup at our site plus the site was big enough to handle our RV slides and the awning. A fire ring and picnic table at each site with room to park our full size truck. Lots of trails for walking, biking, and horseback riding. Large youth camp area. Canoes, kayaks, & paddle board rentals available at the spring.

Very nice place to camp. We were assigned a full hookup site for the same price. Big site, clean and peaceful. We loved to swim in the spring. We had a great stay.

The springs are beautiful, and there s an abundance of things to do. There s no reason to be bored at this gorgeous park. It was the first place we had ever kayaked and canoed as a family, and we had a blast. There are so many hiking trails, we weren t even able to explore them all after staying here for for more than a week. But our best memory was when we saw a black bear on the Volksmarch Trail leading back up to the campground. Check-in is at 3 pm. Be forewarned, there s only one gate, and due to the popularity of this park, it can get really backed up. It took us about 40 minutes to get to the gate after we got in line on a Sunday. For some reason, they don t have signs set up further up the road when the park closes due to being at capacity, so every car goes into the park, and has to turn around, unless you re camping. And some people get upset when they close the park. And some people drive crazy trying to turn around before going through the gate. If you can, make your route there so that you will be making a right turn into the park. Turning left there is a nightmare when it s busy. CoxFamilyTravels
