Basic service, water, sewer, & electric. $32. No wifi, no tv, old style campground w paper checkin. Friendly people. Pulled in for the evening. Quiet, quaint, and clean. Very convenient.
First of all, someone answered the phone on Sunday!! Very friendly on phone and in person. Big rig friendly with pull thru sites. You hear some highway noise but not bad.
We called ahead to save a spot & glad we did cause we got the last one. Convenient stop right off highway. A bit of highway noise but not too bad.
Staff was very friendly, gravel roads and pads were a little tight, but doable. A small lake there, for atmosphere, I guess. There were a few long termers there, but it was clean and neat. Would definitely stay there again for a stop over. FHU/50a, 24.00 per night, I did not check out the bathhouse. March, 2015, 38' Class A with toad.
Called ahead, left message, no return call. Stopped anyway.....UGH! Just as glad no one was there....we left! Too many OLD units, blue tarps draped over several. Kids running everywhere, no signs for which direction to go. Not my kind of place. "Lake" wasnt an attractive feature. Sorry...not for us at this time.
Keep driving! Nothing good to say about this place. It would take a bull dozer to make this place look better.
Spent the night reroute to Little Rock. Altho you always seem to have to leave a message and they only take cash or checks, we found the location to be good and the services as advertised . We would stay there again.
Nice trees and lake. Mostly long term. We had a level site, 50 amp water and sewer. Good one or two night stop over.
