Gravel winding road to FHU sites in the trees. Forget about Satellite reception. Nice view of trees. Restroom/Showers seemed clean and well maintained. Road from town is narrow, winding asphalt. Did not hook up to septic.
Just 2 miles from town you get to hear nature without having to drive far from supplies. Located on a quiet paved road you are surrounded by trees. Some sites are tight but others have alot of room. Full hook ups to primitive tent sites. They also have 4 cabins down by the lake. Reast rooms are clean. They have a pool and a store but check for hours. You must buy wood in the campground. Picnik tables and fire rings at sites. Passport America is only good for 7 days and nothing in july. Most site are close to level. Mosqitoes are crazy but not bad during the day with some bug spray.
Pure camping, not what is common at rv resorts. You're not packed in like eggs in a crate. The campground loop is narrow and will test your trailering skills. Campsites have a fire ring and table. Water is from a well with iron content. Nice little beach area and a heated pool.
