We were very impressed by this state park ...very clean very well maintained...keep up the good work guys and We will definitely come back.
We have been staying at many state grounds and this is the best yet. Just about every spot would be perfect to camp at. Very well maintained. Water view lots are incredible.
Great state park. Nice bathrooms on each loop. Paved roads and parking. Most sites are wooded, back-in, unlevel, and rather short. Swimming, boating, and fishing in a lake that almost surrounds the campground. Hiking trails from the campground and in the area. Mountain bike trails in park but down road from campground. Fun special events throughout the year especially the two Halloween weekends. Best route to campground is state route 5.
Nice park with electrical hookups; no water. Many trails, bicycling, boating. Bath houses good with weird individual showers. More of a destination than a stop over; it’s a ways off the highway.
Very nice state park. I would stay here again without hesitation.
We stayed for Christmas in July in 2014. That event was well organized, and many campsites were decorated, and our kids had fun with the nature activities. West Branch State park is very well kept. The bath houses are the nicest that you will find at any RV park - public or private. There are many camp sites, all paved. Nice boat launch area, beach, playground, camp store. We have made visiting West Branch an annual event for our family.
This was a beautiful site to camp- peaceful- water - clean!
Looked like a great place to stay. Wanted to camp over night on our last night before going home. Had sites open and available that were just open for one night (booked the next full week), but they refused to take us for ONE night, due to a two night minimum rule. Even though the next 7 nights were booked. OK, think people... you would rather keep the spot open one night and make no money, then to take the booking? Government at it's best
Great park, some sites w/fh. Lots of shaded sites. Clean bathrooms/showers. Will stay here again.
