We just needed a place to stay for the night on our way west and this place was great. Our only note/complaint is that we couldn t find much online for details and no one would answer the phone (I called several times). We saw a review on a website saying they closed the gates at 10PM so we just went for it. We got there at 8PM and the gates were still open so we went in but no one was at the check in booth so we just went and grabbed an open spot (they were first come first serve and couldn t be reserved online). The instructions said to grab a spot and come back to the fee booth to pay but no one was ever at the fee booth from what we could tell and it was even empty when we left in the morning. We left some money in their mailbox because we just couldn t figure out what the deal was and didn t want to leave without paying. Was a great spot though right on the water!
