We drove through this former RV park. We couldn't find any signs with any information. Not even a name of this place. Looks like a former RV Park that has homes built around the vacant RV park area. Lots of property for sale throughout the area. Homes and land. Both in & out of Fairplay.
Looks like it used to be a nice place. But now it is overgrown and not maintained. Clubhouse with pool, hot tub and tennis court has also not been maintained. We did not stay.
Spacious, level concrete pads landscaped with boulders and Aspens between full hook up sites. Our pull thru was at least 120 feet long. A great quiet campground - no playground - but has a pool, 2 hot tubs, outside grills, two putting greens, a riding arena (yep, bring your horse) tennis ct, horseshoes and smooth paved interior rounds. There is no office, just email or call Michael, the friendly and gracious mgr, and he'll tell you to go pick out an available site and he'll catch up with you soon, or the next day. Really, a very beautiful campground located about 2 minutes from Fairplay and South Park City, one and the same. Plan to spend several hours exploring these neat towns with great dining. We were there early Sep, 2013, and loved it. One of our most favorite campgrounds - no dust, traffic. Well maintained and very nice. 5 star all the way. Dave and Jan of FL.
