Very nice people. Owner is an RV'r and self manages the facility. Well maintained, level sites. Park is close to I-10, approximately 4 miles west of the intersection of Texas 71 and I-10. Easy pull to Austin, Houston or San Antonio. Stay closer to the back if you want to avoid hearing the train. likety split Wifi.

We chose this park for convenience to San Antonio and love it. The park has nice grassy sites that are 70' pull-through's with the exception of one row of back-ins. The WiFi is excellent. The owners are very helpful and extremely nice, as is everyone in the park. The park itself is quiet and private. It sets right off I-10, and within 2 hours of four major Texas cities in each direction for day trips or extended week-ends away from the park. We find it a perfect stay for our winter months away from snow!!

Very nice people :) Awesome laundry room. Easy to I-10 nice dog park, but small, could be made bigger..longer, for bigger dogs to stretch their legs. Oh!! And the train !!! Lol It didn't bother me because I grew up on railroad street, so I enoyed the sound, but if you are not use to it, don't be alarmed if you feel like it's gonna come through your site...lol And the train ran throughout the night. Enjoy Safe travels

About

Whispering Oaks RV Park sits on 6 beautiful acres with large live oak trees. Located on I-10 midway between San Antonio and Houston, and also between Austin, and the Galveston Gulf Coast. We are within a 2 hour drive to all of these major cities. When in the area take time to visit Round-Top the largest Antique/ Craft Show in central Texas, the historic Painted Churches in Schulenburg, the Texas Independence Wine Trail and all the local festivals. So stay with us a night or indefinitely and see all that Southeast Texas has to offer. The Park also has a mobile RV Repair technician and a mechanical repair shop in the immediate area.
