| Ants Everywhere

This is a lovely park. Unfortunately, the are sugar ants Everywhere. They invaded our RV or Jeep, everything. And the owners never even bothered to tell us beforehand that they were a problem until after we were awash in ants. It was horrible. Buyer beware...

| Adequate, but needs improvements.

Older park with gravel sites with small concrete patios. Picnic tables falling apart. Some sites have nice small pond views and are relatively level. Asphalt roads desperate for repair and in general everything needs care and updating. Lots are narrow with overgrown bushes on each side impeding on slide out space. Need long sewer hose to connect. Wifi only good near clubhouse. Analog cable TV. Adequate place, however; looks like it's fallen on hard times. Friendly staff.

We had a terrible experience at this campground. Called ahead to reserve a spot for the night, and were asked if we would be there before the office closed. We did feel we would make it and said so. Due to heavy traffic we realized we would be getting in late and called back, the call went to a recorded message saying they were full for the night--we left a message that we would be late and asked for a return call. They never returned our call and when we went to the sight we were assigned it had been given away. Needless to say there were no other sights in the area. Do not trust them. Also we have a big rig and when leaving the park tree limbs were scratching our motor home. THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DO NOT GO THERE,

| Nice little place to stay for a day or two.

Small RV Park with services. Lots are very small and not permanent ones are in grass, no patio pad. Clean, about 20 miles to Savannah and 40 to Tybee Island. Paid $43 for two nites with GS discount. Little pond at back.

Very good for an overnighter or two! Very layed back, easy access for a big rig pull through towing a pick up truck. Not fancy... but quiet, good place to walk pups. Gravel roads, no paved spots... called same day needed... very courteous and helpful person answering the phone. Office was closed when we arrived. It was a bit confusing with no names on the 3 or 4 sets of paperwork left in the basket for late arrivals. If you don't write down the lot to which you were assigned when you called, you just take your best shot hoping you selected the correct one. On that point they need to improve communication. Be sure to use big rig GPS because just barely cleared trees on Hodgeville Road.
