Level sites , about a mile off the interstate , nice pool, nice quiet place to camp. June 4th 2015. Bath house clean but needs updating, we did not require them we used our coach.
New owner, new name. A few unnumbered sites, level. No wifi and only 1 bar 3g, sometimes 4g. Full hookups but sewer was too far for my hose so I only used electric.
All sites are pull through and have full hookups. Located just a few miles of I-24 Exit 105. They also have an in ground swimming pool.
This park showed decent reviews so we thought we would give it a shot. When you first drive in it appears to look not bad, pretty setting. As we were shown to our site we traveled to the rear of the property it sets in. There are a lot of full timers and your immediate response is turn around and ask for a refund. Since we had been driving all day and it was just an overnight stay we chose to stay. Bad move, we pulled into our site, it was relatively level but lots of trees. Our front door was 4 feet from our neighbors hook ups which were in very bad condition and they had a leaky sewer line that was repaired with duct tape and was still leaking. Could not open our windows to enjoy the cool morning due to the sewer smell. Several cars parked in open sites with numerous flat tires. Went to walk to the restrooms which was a small shack, closed with caution tape across the doors. Asked a permanent resident about them and he said "been closed for months bad for the campers". Closed up the trailer early went to bed and left first thing in the morning. Also did not hook up to the water as I had read a review that their water had a strong odor. Could be a nice park with a major cleanup and repairs but in its current state my advice is "Keep Going". Safe travels.
Should have believed the reviews from people that said this park is mostly people that have been here awhile!! Campsite in front of us had a truck with a flat tire and another car that look like it had not been started in years! Others were run down and were surrounded by dead plants. While there were a few newer campers most sites looked really “lived in.” Thought it might be ok after the lady at the KOA recommended this place to me after I could not get a site there. I even talked to the manager here before I book and questioned him about some of the poor reviews. He assured me improvements had been made and those bad reviews were from people that had been asked to leave. Our site was not very level but we did finally get our RV leveled. We were able to get our slides out but unable to get our awning out due to site being so narrow. Old blue grill was also left on our site. Should also have turned around and left when I saw the disarray of the office. It was just horrible. Thankfully only staying here one night. Will not be returning here!! Gave it 2 stars because it at least had full hookups.
