Look at the photo. The rigs are 10 ft apart. The smoke from my neighbor's fire set off my smoke alarm.

This campground is very well kept. Stayed there in June. Many sites are wooded and provide shade. Most are back-in. some are terraced and can be a bit tricky to back into if you have a long rig. our site was a full hookup but only provided 30 amps so running both ac units during the day was out. none of these were big issues for us but if you like your rig super cool during the summer day then make sure you go for a site with 50 amps.

The positives: Open year round, so great to get a "last one in before winterizing." All the campers surrounding us were extremely nice and helpful. The staff were very pleasant. Offered help to back in, offered to drop off the wood, etc. The site was in a wooded area, with "some" privacy. The negatives: It needs updating. The bathrooms are dated, with bad lighting. Once you go into the stall, you can barely see. Toilet paper was out in a couple stalls, so be sure to check before going! We stayed on site 36, which was on the small side. It also had shared electric, which made it a little difficult for us to run our cord. The site is also next to a pull through, and I had to move my truck in order for the couple to be able to pull in (and it was a tricky pull in for them as well - on an angle between trees). Not that I had an issue with moving my truck, but if we weren't there, he would never have gotten in! Gun range (or someone shooting guns most of Saturday) right next door and some heavy machinery company next door, which was noisey both Friday and Saturday.

| Good for the Price

The campground is conveniently located about 15 minutes away from Dutch Wonderland, two outlet malls, Amish-made shops, and restaurants. The price is really great, and honestly, what attracted us to White Oak. Lots of monthly and seasonal sites. We stayed in a w/e/s and it was tight. The sites were really close together; we couldn't even get our awning up. But we didn't plan to hang out at the campground much. We were at an ideal location- site 1- because the play area is across the street, within eye sight for my young kids. The playground and new pool are just behind the bathhouse, which was directly in front of us with two dumpsters. There was a blue grass band playing while we visited in an outdoor, covered area. There is an arcade with four games and a general store. There are paved roads, so kids should bring their bikes! The bathrooms were dark and outdated. But they weren't dirty and didn't have too many bugs in them. The water pressure was great, but if there is more than one person showering, the hot water is very limited. Overall, I would recommend this campground and I will return next year!
