I just can not say enough good things about Corp of Engineers campgrounds. They are clean, well maintained & well thought out. This one has beautiful scenery right on the lake. Wish we could have stayed longer but we were meeting friends further on down the road.
My family stayed for several days. Gorgeous park! Very quiet, close to the lake. Lots are very spacious, flat. Every lot had a large, level area with a picnic table, grill and fire pit. If they had sewer, it would have been perfect. $25 a night
Friendly staff and always have a good time here. Stayed here 3 different times and was consistently a good experience.
This park is great! waterfront sites large sites shade level sites water and electric with a dump station couldn't ask for more - oh and friendly hosts! We stayed here during the middle of the week I guess it gets busy on the weekends but it was only half full when we stayed here in August. Oh it's half price if you have a senior federal park card so we paid $12/nite. We stayed here in a 27 ft trailer.
We spent 5 nights ans were in site 95. It had an excellent view of the lake and wildlife. The camp host/staff were responsive and very helpful. The only problem were experienced was ants! We kept them out of our camper but they did getinto our truck. If you stay here, be prepared.
We got in late Saturday night and by the time we woke on Sunday, we were infested with ants! Spent most of the day warding them off! Also make note that the gates are locked at 10. We went out for dinner and a few drinks and got back by 10:30 and had to leave our truck and walk from the boat ramp to our campsite and then go back for our vehicle the next day. Beautiful spot though, right on the lake.
We stayed on site 100 overnight . The campground was clean and spacious. The lake was beautiful.
