You have to look for the sign, and it is not lighted at night, but it is between Pizza Hut (south) and Wendys (north) on the east side.

Nice enough park, but don't use S. Florida address. Look for entrance on White Sands Blvd.

Second granddaughter here this time. Use the White Sands entrance. However, there is a tank trap cleverly disguised as a pothole nearly in the middle of the access road. You have to look for the sign, and it is not lighted at night, but it is between Arbys (south) and Wendys (north) on the east side. The Florida Street access has a deep and narrow dip (rain drainage canal) that you must cross. Long rigs beware!! They decided to upgrade area lighting with BRIGHT LED lamps. Think Alaska in the summer when the sun does not set. Avoid sites 30, 31, and 32 and probably others. The people are very helpful and friendly.

The facility sign is hard to pick out, but it is just south of Walmart on the east side of the road. This is a no-reservation facility, so call the day before to check the status. People are very helpful and friendly. Most sites have shade, and all are asphalt and level. The length of the sites are short, so parking is tight. WiFi was down when we arrived, but it was fixed ... Strong signal. Showers were clean and relatively up to date. It is a long stretch to the sewer fixture. Cable available, but did not use it .... broadcast signals are there. We stayed in a 25' travel trailer.
