very strange tension between management and staff. you must park alternating north south even though only 1/4 of the park is full. random shower curtains for stall doors in bathrooms.... strange. nice view!!

| Late Night Dry Camp

Arrived too late for Caverns tour. Did not want to spend $40 just to stay the night to make it to the Caverns. Do to spilled spray bottle of toilet bowl cleaner as we were leaving, we were forced to camp. Was able to get a spot in the tent camping loop parking for $10. Came with access to the restroom anf WIFI.

Stayed 1 night to visit Carlsbad Caverns. The check in was icy at best, these people are not very friendly. Poor directions caused us to circle the park twice. The grass is not cut. We never noticed the cable connection on a pole so we never got it. The desk never told us to look for it. Most of the caliche pads are occupied by full time residents. I think the walmart would have been better.

| "AVOID at all cost!"

Strictly a work camp, cramped side by side with uncut weeds and junk piled everywhere. We boon docked in the neighboring hotel parking lot to keep from driving 40 miles back to Carlsbad or Guadalupe National Park in Texas.

| Not good

By user-5806246... on 2017-10-23.

My advice is to try to stay in one of the state parks that are nearby unless you have no other choice. This park is very run down has staffing issues and cost quite a bit for what you get. Spaces are extremely tight. My door hits a tree on one side and my slides on the driver's side nearly hits the camper on the other side.

| A okay

First the good.... Very polite staff. Awesome location right at the entrance to Carlsbad Caverns park. Other campers were friendly including the permanent ones. Park was quiet. The bad....Basically a gravel parking lot with a little grass near a playground area. The rate is $40 unless your are military or AAA. Tight spots. No WIFI! There is even a sign posted at the desk area of check-in that states that they no longer have WIFI. Did not use restrooms or showers. Camped with a dog and had to walk him through a lot of gravel to small grassy area. Overall, we stayed 2 nights to do the caverns and would stay again based on the location and nothing terrible just not much good.

| Good for one night

We had excellent service checking in. Very friendly. Pads are very close together with buddy parking but a sheltered picnic table inbetween. For us, we were thrilled to find a place so close to the caverns without booking ahead. Met other friendly campers at this park.

| Horrid

By user-5390838... on 2017-10-23.

Horrid. Expensive and horrid. The feral cats were much more friendly and helpful than the staff. We stayed only because we had no choice because we needed afloat repaired. I gave it a one because you are not allowed to give it a zero.

| Rounded Up To 1 Star

By user-4557224... on 2017-10-23.

Gave it 1 Star simply because of close location to Carlsbad Caverns. Grounds are marginally maintained. Restrooms are "OK". Supposedly have cable hookups but not in the lower campground which is also considered the second rate area with "permanent" trailers along the outside and "transients" in the center section. Spaces are very tight. We noticed that in the upper "desirable"area the rigs were so close together that their bump outs nearly touched - definitely less than 3 feet apart. A camper in that area told us that cable TV was so bad that it was like the old rabbit ear days. Front office doesn't seem to have any idea which sites are actually occupied so you can probably go wherever you wish. Don't expect a warm reception at the front office either, you're more of a bother than a guest.

| One star for location, one for hookups

By user-5125425... on 2019-08-09.

Tight graveled parking lot with hookups. Two big rigs allowed to park next to the RV spots, one ran a generator all night. Felt and sounded like we were at a truck stop.

| Good Spot For A Night

By user-6188949... on 2019-08-09.

Our expectations were low based on the reviews we read. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised to discover that White's City RV Park met all of our requirements. We were given a site beside the office and store. This is a large gravel lot with a dozen or so FHU sites. We had zero problems with the water, power, or sewer connections. The lot is level. There was no excessive road noise. The staff were friendly and helpful. This may not be the perfect RV park; but, the location (seven miles from Carlsbad Caverns) is great. My only complaint is the lack of food options. There are several vacant spaces in the main office building. It would be great if the owners would open a deli that stayed open late.
