A Frontier Experience

The owner is extremely nice and the rates are good. This is a decent place for a couple of nights, but our 3 weeks was way too long. There are a lot of residents in the park, friendly enough but not overly welcoming. The park is older. Laundry facility was good. Office, pool, clubhouse check... Gated but gate is rickety, turns a little tight, and had to ask someone to move their car so we could back in our site on our first day. The guy was not happy about it (thought maybe he was a Grumpy Dwarf character... Lol)... Then they started moving RV's into sites from the service center... Came back after a long day out to find they had sandwiched a fifth wheel between our site and the site next to us... Also, we had made an appointment with the service center to check out one of our air conditioners but they didn't show up... The park is not a detriment, but I certainly would not hesitate to try another place the next time.

Excellent overnight stop.

Very clean and well maintained. This will be a regular stop for me passing through Ocala. Good WiFi & cable TV. All the roads are paved. Very friendly spot. This park is connected to a large RV dealer specializing in Mobile Suites. They offer passport discount in the summer months.

This is a very cool park..They have a full service RV dealer right there. Very well maintained..close to town, the staff is very nice..

Stayed 2014-03-03 to 2014-03-23
We stay on the road 6 months per year and stay a couple of weeks in lots of parks while visiting family. Wild Frontier was clean and has great people staying there. It's not the cheapest park on the road but we'd rather pay two or three dollars more to have the company of great people to enjoy our time with. That's half the reason we travel. They had events and activities that brought everyone together. We'll be back next year. Highly recommend!

A little disappointed.

Ok place but with short-comings. We were in the new section and it had asphalt paved sites that were barely wide enough for our motorhome to fit on and if we had any other car but our sub-compact we would not have been able to park on our site. The asphalt was not compressed enough and several rv's had their jacks sink through the asphalt and one diesel pusher was backing into his site when the front wheels sank into the asphalt. The promised Wifi was nonexistent, worked two days out of a month. Since this was the new section they brought in sod but did not grade the land before resulting in very, an I mean very, uneven sites that you could turn an ankle easily. No lights in the new section so walking to the bathhouse in the early morning required a flashlight. Clubhouse was closed for weeks at a time but never saw anyone in it. Plus would be that they did not charge extra for electricity.

Lovely, but GPS is wrong

Lovely wide spaces with tables. No patios. Trees on perimeter of the park. Good water pressure, 50 amp, sewer hookup. Very quiet and gated, so no looky-loos driving through. GPS will try to take you to the back gate. Entrance is on MLK street.
Office is hard to find, but otherwise everything is clean and well maintained. Would stay again.

Best Ocala RV Park

Been here a month and enjoyed thoroughly. Management and staff helpful and friendly, stayed in the new part, which will be great by next Fall. Well kept and excellent location. Will return !
