| Wonderful park!

I must disagree with the 2 previous posts that were posted by the same person, this campground has wonderful owners that want to make sure everyone has a good time. The algae was a problem on many lakes in the state in 2014 and was very difficult to remove. I looked at all the photos on the website and the park looks exactly as the photos with two exceptions, one of the weeping willow trees on the island has died and had to be removed and several of the ash trees had to be removed due to the Emerald Ash Borer problem. We've camped here many times and especially enjoy the campsites facing the fishing lake, it's like your not in a campground at all.

The water has algae so thick in the pond it was gross to swim in. We felt like we were being watched..Looks nothing like brochure. Unless your 80 and play cards stay clear of this camping nightmare!! Don't forget the 100 dollar fine for moving a fire ring... Very overpriced we will forget this place when looking to have fun:(.

We were greeted by an older lady as we later named the beach police, the dog police ,the park police. This senoir was fully loaded with rulebooks, handbooks that are very questionble in size..If your wanting to visit a retirement home visit here..,I sugest going elsewhere felt like we were visiting a library. Rule number 50 you must speak in a hush voice!!!! Omg to bad i did not read the 20 page hand book before renting a spot!!
