| Average basic KOA
We have been staying here when in need of a campground in Wildwood for 15 or more years. Staff is nice and friendly, the place is kept clean but the place needs to be updated. We stayed in one of the premium pull thru sites. Mainly sand with a slight grass growth, no patio or gravel to help keep the sand out of our motorhome. The power pedestals are so close to the ground that I had to get on both knees to be able to see the plug in. The aux shower house restroom is not air conditioned, which I consider unacceptable in central Florida in the summer months. It was like trying to shower in a sauna. Hard to feel clean after that sweaty experience. I would gladly pay a few dollars more for my site if they would put ACs in the comfort stations.

They're really trying to make this place much better than it was. stayed here 2 nights no problems staff was very nice.
| Good Place for a Nights Sleep
This was a last second choice to stay in a park rather than the TA. We checked in after-hours and registration was easy. The lot was big enough going in and down the row, but a little crowded on the way out the front gate (exit side of building). We used the laundry facility, which costs $2.00 a load. The machine takes credit cards for $1.25 and then has you put 75 cents (cash) in for the rest (you'll need coins). They are doing construction everywhere to make the facility better, but they don't start until 8 or 8:30am. The staff is super friendly and they do have Good Sam and Military discounts. They participate in a (I think it was called) "Troops in Tents" where Active Military stay for free. Everything was quiet and I felt safe. I would stay again.
