Located just east of the golf course right off the highway. Pull in and keep driving east. Watch the speed bumps. The first house is not the office or host, keep going. First impression- fantastic beautiful spot. Stars! Awesome showers & washrooms. Playground! Communal Fire Pits, but a be aware if there's a fire ban! Large sites! Hosts are great. It's r eally dark & quiet after about 10…mostly. A couple sites were up late…socializing. Sites are full-service, long & grassed w/ picnic table around nice gravel pad with a spot for vehicle, golf cart, or boat/trailer. Pretty level too! There are some rules, check the website under Campground. After dark the trains start. Bright high beam lights, multiple horns, high speed. One followed the other less than 30 seconds after-that was insane! In an hour 3-4 trains passed our site - the tracks are RIGHT beside the campground. Wear earplugs if you're a light sleeper. There's a wee beach, smells a little like it might be chlorinated water, fashioned into a network of streams & little pond, so no frogs. No bugs really for that matter either. Sites available for purchase, overnight, weekly/monthly/season rental. Next door to nice-looking golf course. Wandering around after dark a flashlight is a MUST. Do NOT stray off roads and shortcut through empty sites to get to showers - there are streams and lagoons everywhere and no bridges. Price with all taxes is $42.
Full service 50 amp, $42. Back in's only. Good solid gravel base for RV and Car/truck. Rest is well groomed grass. Pik-nik table. Adjacent to nice 9 hole golf. Reception excellent. Trains but not too bad. Best "permanent" sites we have ever seen.
Nice park but back in only - we had to unhitch our toe at the gate. Trains pass by several times an hour - shake the ground and are noisy as they pass right next to the property. Most people own - they are only renting out the spaces not sold. Nice big play area for kids. No wifi available as owners all have their own. So many dogs barking ... we decided to stay elsewhere passing through next time
