| Nice stuff, nice area

By user-4722543... on 2017-10-23.

The stuff is very friendly and helpful. The site is nice but a little bit to close to the highway. The pool was not clean.

| OK Park

Lots of trees for shade. Gravel sites. Not level, mine was 10" off from front to back of 40 coach. Clean bathrooms, hot showers. Too close to interstate. A Long drive to grand canyon.

| Big help

Although we didn't stay here...had Rev trouble and they allowed us to park while waiting for a part. Extremely nice people and park looked really nice and area is pretty. If looking for a place to stay would stay here.

| Nice place, worth a stay

By user-4519230... on 2017-10-23.

A little noise from the freeway but, not like most. The convenience of access to local sights and the ample trees make it a winner. The amenities were nice and the people great.

| Would have been 5 stars, however..

We are on our final leg of a 4 week cross country tour. We try to stay in KOAs because they are always clean, safe and the folks are always friendly and helpful. This KOA did not disappoint. I use my KOA app to find KOAs in the area in which we plan to stay I called this KOA to make same day reservations. The message came on telling me that all lines were busy , however we could leave a msg and someone would get back to me. After 2 hrs of no call back, I called again and got a very nice lady who took my credit card, gave me my KOA discount and made our reservation. Upon arrival, after driving 8 hrs, we checked in and were then told about a "surcharge ". Now I do understand they have to truck water in and I have no problem paying the $2.50 (or thereabouts ) "surcharge", but please, just add it into the nightly fee, please. Annoying to have to pay again after already paying over the phone. Had they told me that in advance, I would have told them to add it to my cc We did receive a call back from a nice lady returning our call to make our reservation. The call came the next morning at 10:45 We were a bit sluggish getting out the next morning. It was 11:15 (ck out is 11). We had the slide outs in, all sewer hookups put away, electrical unplugged and put inside the belly of the beast, water unplugged and hose put away. Dogs were inside the truck, 5th wheel hooked up to the truck and husband inside washing his hands. A man came by in his cart and asked if,we were leaving, I replied that we were and he looked at his watch and reminded me that checkout was 11 am. He also reminded me that he didn't want us to get caught paying another fee for being late out. Seriously??? Fifteen minutes?? I could understand if the park was full and they had a line of Rvs waiting to get in Why did he have to leave a sour taste All in all, I would most definitely stay here again. It's clean, safe, dog and child friendly and has the high standards we have come to enjoy in the KOA

| Family loves ot

By user-5858544... on 2017-10-23.

Noise from the fwy was tolerable. Excellent staff, pool was great. Hot tub could have been hotter. So much for kids to do with Go-Karts, mini golf, bike rentals, 2 dog parks, arts and crafts, panning for gold. But extra cost for most of the extra fun things to do. Restaurant was good. Close to Williams and decent drive to Grand Canyon.

| Pet and people frindly

The staff was so nice and helpful. The location is shaded everywhere under the pine trees. Indoor Pool and spa where clean and well maintained just a little aged. Nice big fenced area for pets as well as trails that lead out the back of the RV park where we would take our yellow lab for walks. Great place for families. I will be gong back there again.

| Nice Family Park

By user-6186978... on 2017-10-23.

Little pricey, little dusty, needs a little TLC in some areas, but really not that bad. Freeway noise was tolerable but the trains were a bit annoying. Lovely playground, jump pad, go kart track and doggy playground. Nice little store, cafe was closed, indoor pool but we did not swim. Laundromat was decent, basically $5 a load to wash & dry. Planning to stay again.

Going back at the end of the month 3rd year in a row. I must like the campground and the friendly staff!

Nice RV Park in the Pines however coming in late at night there were no signs guiding entry to the overnight parking and all the roads and RV Pad were Gravel roads. Didn't use facilities...

| Unlevel!!!

By user-6042688... on 2018-05-17. Stayed 2018-04-23 to 2018-04-27

Visited here in late April 2018, with a 42’ fifth wheel, and was in Space 125 (50amp/FHU). Having stayed at our share of RV parks and campgrounds, in my opinion this is a nice KOA but I think it could be better. I would agree with other reviews that the office/store is nice as well as the go karts (F/S/Su), jump pillow, dog park and mini golf but all we really look for is a clean, noise free, level site, friendly and safe place to park with hookups, that is also close to many of the activities in the area. The location of this park is great for a base camp. It’s a reasonable drive and centrally located to the Grand Canyon, Prescott, Sedona and Flagstaff. The staff that we dealt with was friendly and we felt it was secure. The park was very clean for the most part as a park/campground in the great outdoors of the country can be. It could be dusty when someone drove past as they probably exceeded the posted 5 mph speed limit. We never heard a single train in our RV but tent camping I’m sure you would, the noise from the interstate was to be heard but was tolerable. All the utilities were great and never had a issue there. There are two things I wish were different. As I said we have a big rig and I would have to agree with a previous post, our site and many others are NOT LEVEL at all. The front end of our RV was up near 16” more in the front than when we park on level sites. It would be nice to see more gravel on the sites and roads. Overall it’s a nice KOA but I don’t like sites that are that sloped and just a warning the pine trees are sapping and there’s lots of pine needles on the ground.

| Schöne Anlage an der Interstate

By user-5984944... on 2018-05-17. Stayed 2018-05-11 to 2018-05-12

Platz ist für amerikanische Verhältnisse nett angelegt. Leider direkt an der Interstate (laut). Sanitäranlagen und Pool wirken etwas alt, sind aber sauber.

| Our First KOA

With no KOA camping experience, we found the amenities here to be vast and varied. Plenty of stuff for kids, well laid out areas, and lots of helpful staff. There is road construction out in the interstate here in May 2018, so expect detours. But the CG was worth a bit of backtracking.

| Wonderful Park

By user-4616483... on 2018-07-06. Stayed 2018-06-22 to 2018-06-24

In general, a lovely park. Areas were clean and staff friendly and helpful. Lots of entertainment for the kids and 3 good sized dog runs. Looking forward to camping there again.

| Ok except site #67

By user-5482094... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-08-03 to 2018-08-07

Nice park clean friendly staff. Lots of activities for the kids. But here s a warning site #67 was so small I couldn t put my awning out. So unlevel that I ran out of leveling blocks trying to compensate. And the worst part the sewer connection was HIGHER than my TT so every time I had to empty my tanks I had to jack my trailer up higher than the drain.

I40East exit to campground is closed for road work. Google Map will take you on a very rough unpaved country road. 1.5 miles long. It is doable if you go very very slow. Other option is to stay on I 40 East until exit 178, exit, and go back on I 40 West for 11 miles til you get to the westbound exit for the campground (exit 167). This applies only for eastbound travelers.

| Very Good for an Overnight

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-03-19 to 2019-03-20

KOA quality and amenities. Friendly staff. Early in season, not crowded at all. Interstate noise. After hours check in was easy. Recommend.

| We're coming back

We only stayed one night as we were passing through heading to the east coast. But the park is real nice. Loved being in the trees. Staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of amenities, which we didn't use. We're definitely coming back and staying for a lot longer.

| Toller Spielplatz / Pool / großer Platz

By user-5723231... on 2019-08-09.

Es war ausreichend Platz mit Tisch. Super Pool. Schöner Spielplatz mit ausreichend Platz. Auch sonst alles vorhanden. Einzig aus dem hundeauslauf hat es bis zu unserem Platz gestunken.
