Very dry and kind of ugly in the summer. The river going by is pretty but otherwise feels like a barren wasteland. Might be prettier and worthwhile in the spring
Not the most exciting place to stay, but reasonably close to downtown for us to leave our RV to do some sightseeing in our car. Clean, mountain views from some parts, near a greenway if you need somewhere to run or bike. There is also a small fenced dog park and a couple playgrounds. We didn t use the bathrooms. No hookups. We were one of only a few campers there the weekend of 10/15. Camp host was pleasant and helpful.
