Reviews for Willow River State Park

| Very nice place

Excellent condition Park. Some electric sites and some without. Some sites with gravel pads and some with asphalt. Now sewer at sites. All are very close to level. Be aware that in addition to camping fee you will be charged a vehicle park entry fee. Lots of hiking opportunities and when the dam is repaired a nice lake for paddling.

| Pricey for what it is

Only ok for a State Park. They had to remove the 100 year old dam that was ready to fail, so no water in lake, no beach, boat ramp goes to a field of grass. Nice hike to a water fall up stream where another dam had been removed years ago. As a non resident I paid $25 for dry camping, plus $13 a day entry fee. I think this is the first time I ever had to pay the entry fee for each day of my stay. Not worth it. Moved to Hoffman Park in River Falls. Half the price.

| Ugly reservation system

Cancelled the transaction as the price just kept increasing. If they can't provide a user friendly res system, I have my doubts about all of the rest of the operation. Found better more convenient and less costly accommodations at a KOA.
