We stayed there one night on our way to LA. I don't usually review parks, they all have good and bad but. ... first no one in office all weekend because it's a holiday. No key to bathrooms or laundry, they are locked. They say free wifi. ...it's terrible. It's out in the middle of weeds with mostly full time people living there. We should have stayed at the Wal Mart up the street!! I only gave it one star because it required a rating
| Watch out on weekends
Apparently the restroom and laundry are routinely locked on the weekend. Manager could not be reached. Check out restroom (ONE) before you pay $35 for full hookups. WiFi worked sporadically. All in all NOT a good stop. Plus sandburs in dog's feet so the dog did not have a good stop either.
| Clean safe park. Easy on off access.
This is a nice clean park located less than a mile off Interstate 5. The RV parking is in the front area and there is a mobile home park in back. So yes there are some permanent residents but there area is close to the mobile home park so travelers are somewhat separated. Easy on off access. Larger driveways and clearances so even the large buses and RVs can maneuver around. Only about a 1/2 mile west of a Walmart and several chain fast food restaurants. They are close to Sacramento wildlife refuge and Delavan wildlife refuge and they are happy to have duck hunters stay there. I did not see any fire pits but you are basically out in the middle of a bunch of rice fields with plenty of shade trees. The only downside is that I am sure the mosquitos are horrible at certain times of the year. But it is the only decent RV park between Red Bluff and Dunnigan.
