Plenty big enough. nice single showers. Small playground. Lots of greenery. Nice river access. Near Desoto Bend neat to visit the steam boat accident building and see the artifacts. Great place to find morel mushrooms!
We stayed here so we were close to the eclipse. We really like the campground. It was quiet and the rangers were great. Right on the water and boat launch. There is a quarry we think across the river that can be loud if the wind is blowing the right direction. The DeSoto Wildlife refuge is super close and there is a big museum that houses the artifacts from the sinking of the Steamboat Bertrand. That is pretty cool for history buffs. If your children like trains, we highly suggest making the short hop to Missouri Valley and visit the Watson Steam & Train depot. It has a mini railroad the kids can ride for a few dollars a ride. However, that time of year there were large daddy long leg spiders that got all over everything. It was not pleasant at all. But if you kept moving they would scatter.
