| Clear water!
Wilson lake is one of the clearest lakes in Kansas. The campsites are gravel and had to use some leveling blocks. The spot we picked last minute we did not have lake front or shade trees. It would have been nice if our site allowed for our trailer entry to be on the side of the fire pit. Our fault for booking last minute. Many of the lake front sites are perfect! This lake has a great swimming area as well. The cell service is great at Wilson. One of the Nicest lakes in Kansas!

That's an experience!!! His Park is beyond expectations. Gorgeous, quiet (week days), large sites by the water, wilderness and good LTE coverage. I'll be back.
| Beautiful stop!!
We were traveling through Kansas and the Koa wanted $40 so I found this state park. It's a beautiful drive to park and we camped on the water and watched the sun set. Amazing park and very clean. Would camp here again!
