Came down to Windmill Cove after an all day Volleyball tournament in Tracy. Perfect way to relax and celebrate Easter. Have not been here in 2 years but glad we came back. Resident Don welcomed us Saturday night to a RV site. Sunday morning Caroline welcomed us and checked us in. Very friendly. All the residents welcomed us in with open arms. Spent whole day at beach. Awesome time will have to come back. RV site area has had a make over. A+ everything was green and clean. See you next time Windmill Cove.
This site offers a lot for a family, especially one interested in water sports. If you are situated by the beach, there are ample opportunities for swimming, jet skiing, and boating. The staff is nice and courteous and the rates seem reasonable. Be aware that depending upon where you are situated the park has a very different feel. There is one section by the beach which seems occupied largely by families. There is another section by the marina which seems largely occupied by people more interested in spending time on their larger boats. Finally, there is another section by the bar where the locals enjoy themselves late into the evening. All in all, a good experience.
It's a nice getaway from home not to far from bayarea. To enjoy the water and cool off with your water toys. Marina is awesome get place to enjoy music cocktails and mingle. Camping is good with nice sites to choose from but just make sure not to be to close to the resort local residents as they can make your experience uncomfortable. Maybe we were of the wrong skin color but the resort also offers a very nice beach for the whole family. This place is still good and offers something for the whole family. Facility is kept very clean. We like that.
Terrible place. Bone jarring road in. Mud sites haven't been graded in years. Long drive in from I5. Skip this place.
