Reviews for Wine Country RV Resort

| Top notch

By user-5020585... on 2017-10-23.

Can't think of any reason not to give it 5 stars. The staff was great, the grounds are immaculate. The adult spa is worth the stay. The only problem was with the map they have us to the grocery store, we really got screwed up. Will definitely come back!

LOVE this place. It's clean and we'll run with friendly staff. We've stayed here more than a half dozen times and have never had a bad experience. Nice sized gravel/grass or concrete/grass sites. Clean laundry room, great store and wine tasting at the clubhouse every weekend. Cannot say enough great things about this location.

| Great location, great family park

By user-5125121... on 2017-10-23.

Spent 3 nights at the park, very well maintained and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The facilities are newer and well maintained. Lots of activities planned...from a free wine tasting with a couple of local vineyards, to a movie under the stars and a father's day bean bag toss tournament. An adult only spa area and barefoot wine and beer bar was a nice touch. There's a water park across the street and a winery next door. We also had a great time at the Wolf and hybrid animal rescue facility about a mile and a half away...then really enjoyed the wine tasting at Via Vega winery...but there are tons of wineries in the area. We like to ride bikes and the area is fantastic for riding. Almost every driver went out of their way to go way around us as they passed on the narrow country roads. We will definitely go back here again. Lot's to do and see. Clean facility with great staff and spaces are plenty big enough that you don't feel cramped or on top of your neighbor.

| Nice place

By user-5240040... on 2017-10-23.

It was a very nice place. We got the cheapest lot against the back wall. Prices vary according to size and location. The highway was on the other side of wall but we weren't bothered because our rv is well insulated and we use a box fan to sleep. The only difficulty was backing in. If a trailer was parked in front of us it never wld have happened. We have a 34' travel trailer. There is a small Waterpark in walking distance to the park that might be fun for an additional charge. Town is also a short car ride away. We ate at Margie ' s Diner. I had an omelet and my plate was overflowing with delicious food.

When we arrived (for the first visit) it was raining. When we checked in, the lady that we encountered was very rude. When asked a question about where are spot was, she said "just follow the map I gave you". When we reached our spot, we quickly found out it was just a dirt strip (now muddy) leveled out. Really? You just scrape a spot and call it an RV space? They should tell you there are three site options when you call for a space. Other than that, it was a nice park with nice restrooms etc..

| Very nice for childrens

| The best

We travel all over in our 42 ft. Fifth wheel and this is our favourite! Close to Morro bay for beaches and excellent seafood. Right next to Eos Winery..close drive to all the other great wineries. Go to Cass for excellent wine and food!

| Clean, quiet, nice grounds

Nice pool area and adult only hot tub area, clean grounds, friendly staff, a little patch of grass at all sites. Pull through available too. Many of the 80s sites back up to EOS winery, beautiful to look behind you at the rows of vines. Kid friendly campground. Picnic tables at all spots but I didn't see any fire pits. They do have a couple large communal bbqs

| Okay park, great location

By user-5978338... on 2017-10-23.

Park is well kept but sites are kind of cramped. Overall it's expensive for what the park has to offer but you can't beat the location. That's what you're actually paying for. 5 star for location, 4 star for park and 3 star for price.

| Beautiful Park, in beautiful area

By user-6523570... on 2018-05-17.

This is a beautiful park - a nice swimming pool, and a separate area for the adult-only hot tub. It sits next to the highway, but it doesn't seem too obtrusive. Much of the park backs up to a vineyard, so for being a somewhat urban setting, it still feels a little more removed. The grounds are beautifully kept. As other reviews have said, there are four classes of spots in this park, we stayed in a premium backing right next to the vineyard. At least in good weather, however, I can't imagine there would be much wrong with any spot in this place. Our spot was paved, flat, and included a picnic bench, and a small rectangle of lawn. Traveling with two small dogs, they loved having the lawn to relax in. Although the we are fairly new to this style of travel, in three years of RVing, this is one of the nicer parks.

| Great find!

This was a very well very clean place to stay. The staff was friendly the pool and Jacuzzi were a great find. And a very nice dog park for the dogs. Plenty of shade

| Bad choice this time

We usually stay here on trip North for the summer. When they charge 75.00 for a deluxe site you at least expect to have more space then 3 ft. from your neighbors and your own table. We stayed in 149 and felt like I was at a truck stop. Had to keep shades down! Ugh...so disappointed! Will think twice about staying here again! When we called to book 2 months back we were told lucky to even get a spot..park is half empty! Lots of pull thru empty. Never trust those booking you...do your research! When I called to complain that this is a not a deluxe site the woman got combative and said all sites share a table and are tight!! Errrr

| Nice RV Park

First time here at this Park. Very nice, clean and friendly. One night they had wine tasting and they had a vender there for food. The next night they had music with the same food vender. Quite at night even with the space close together. Would come back here again

| TORTUGA GRANDE Summer short run

The wonderful time near the mountains and the ocean not far away is always welcomed. Especially, when you are with love ones to share blessed moments. My wife and I traveled from Redlands, CA to Wine Country RV Resort with our grandson. We had a great time and our grandson had the time of his life. The camp is snuggled in the hills of Paso Robles. If you are looking for $$ deal, it all depends what you consider that to be. However, we thought it was worth the cost for the amenities provided. The Bounder was easily parked in the space assigned; plenty of room for the coach and the dinghy riding on our tow dolly; total length 55.5 ft. Wine Country RV Resort has a beautiful pool and Jacuzzi. We all enjoyed it. The inside lanes are easily maneuvered and plenty of space to drive the coach. The beach is only a skip and a jump away with plenty of activities for everyone. We had a great time and will be going back in July/August on our way to N.Y. This is TORTUGA GRANDE.

| Weekend Surprise

By user-4967117... on 2019-08-09.

We have been several times at WCRVR for a few days at a time. We have a Bounder 35K with tow about 55.5 ft. On this occasion we were on space 127 by the club house. Of course, the weekend brought out all the weekenders and the overabundance of the short people with multiple velocipede moving about at rapid pace without concern many a time for the people around them. It was atrocious. A group of about 5 critters turned a corner on the hallway by the office, next to to pool. They almost ran over a 4 year old little girl. The exciting event was Sunday morning. No more dangerous tandems or pedal accelerated toys. Parents let their young ones out without instructions to be careful of others. It figures with today's generation, lack of respect. Otherwise, it was an extremely enjoyable weekend and Monday. I think we have had our full of this place. We are heading East to the tip of this incredible country. Wine Country RV personnel is the best. They are always courteous. The facility is great, the spaces are ample enough for our rig and then some. The adult hot tub was excellent.
