We drove by this campground on our way back from the Smokey Mountains National Park and I knew we had to return! There are no frills here, just beautiful mountains everywhere! Staff are very friendly and helpful. Took me around to pick out a site. I was initially worried as some sites are grass and was worried about the upcoming rain. They offered to put rock down for us on the spot!!! We declined and found a spot that was partially rock. They are having a BBQ for the 4th for the campers! This is a quiet nice place, stayed for 3 nights. So glad we stopped.
Great for a travel nurse like myself. Long timers are quiet, elderly folk with beautiful, well kept sites. They even have a garden of the month award. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful when choosing a spot. The camp is well maintained, and the facilities are clean. Beautiful creek that runs through the back that the dogs like playing in
Great quite little campground. Owners are super helpful. The creek in the back of the property makes for. Nice little strolll. Farms on 2 sides and pretty Mountain View. Mostly full timers when we were there in March. It looks like the trees will make some nice shade this summer.
