This is a residential trailer community with a few empty sites which they rent by the night. The sites are pretty leveled and clean. Even though it says it has WIFI it does NOT.
We camped here for 5 days in February 2016. We were assigned a site in the overflow, near the I-75, very noisy. Our site was not cleaned- grass not raked and pavement not swept. No Wifi at our site. No recycling, one garbage dumpster for 500 sites. Therefore, cars and golf carts on the go constantly to the dumpster. Our neighbours went to work each day. One neighbour had 3 pickup trucks. I believe for the price we paid, we were poorly served.
We stayed for a short trip in our newly purchased travel trailer. This was my 4th stay at this campground and is ok. It is close to my family and convenient for getting around town. The staff was friendly, check in area for campers waiting is limited. The space was easy to back into (even for my 35' trailer). It was level, but not the best maintained site. Again, was ok and does the job. We did enjoy the pool and have nothing bad to say about it. We stayed in the off season and feel it was worth the money. Obviously not the best campground, but it'll do. I will be back.
Very friendly staff and campers. Lots of activities. Close to Walmart, grocery stores, restaurants. Sites are narrow but most have cement patios. We are staying free with our Elite Thousand Trails membership. But we saw a sign that said the nightly rate was $65, much less if you are seasonal. We have a 32' travel trailer with 2 slides. WiFi is available at the clubhouse.
Poorly maintained in the overflow area, yet campers are charged top dollar. 1 dumpster for 500 sites, no recycling. No WiFi at the sites! Our neighbours went to work each day. Will never stay there and will not recommend this park. There was recycling in the area and we were not advises!
This RV park is expensive and needs some maintenance. Lots of permanent and seasonal residents. I couldn't even count on one hand the number of old run down RVs that were around the park. This made it feel dingy. Mostly a 55 and older community. We were given a site next to the highway and it was loud. It is hard to maneuver larger rigs. Pet area was disgusting and broken down. Hard to walk your dog around. Bathhouse needed maintenance. Pool area was clean and upkept. Pond was pretty. Never did laundry because parking near the clubhouse was near impossible. Lots of traffic near the trash area. Our site needed some maintenance as the slab was deteriorated. Close to Walmart and Publix and Aldi. Close to Outlets. 30 min to St Pete. No kids play area.
The park is not awful, but our site was. Right on freeway, so very loud. Crumbled asphalt and stones. Too short for our unit - could barely walk onto (nice) patio slab. Site is sand and weeds and gravel where there once was grass. We were placed behind the unappealing bathhouse looking at the backs of other people's sites. Eyesore. Would not stay here again. Very little landscaping once in park. Little grass anywhere - mostly sand and weeds even on nicer sites. Clubhouse is very nice, but workout room is just screened in - obviously no AC. Auxiliary bathhouse/laundry building in serious need of updating. People in park seem very friendly as well as the check-in ladies. We travel in a 36 foot motor home.
Should have looked at reviews before booking. Mostly park models and people living in trailers. Lots of fifth wheels. No tv or WiFi.
