I have been staying at Wolf Creek Park since I was a kid in the 70's. The park has spots for everything from tents to Big Rigs. You can book up to 60 days in advance via their website, they sell out quick for weekends. All RV sites have picnic tables and fire rings. No golf carts allowed, pets are fine but must be on a leash. No wifi, or cable, friendly staff. Sites are back in, although they are saying they are, going to try to make some pull thru sites this winter. Closed from Dec-March. Bring a pole and enjoy some of the best Cat fishing in the state. Not much to do close to the park, eat at the country diner in Coldsprings, or hamburger shop. Has store on site, marina, putt-putt golf, swimming area, swings, basketball court, volleyball court, and small pavilion. This is a nature park for enjoying the lake.
I am a full timer and discovered this park while traveling thru. This park is the best park I ever stayed at. We were in the off season and the stay was fantastic, quiet and beautiful! FHU but no WiFi. On sight store and friendly staff with a great price of $25 a night! Nature at its finest. They even have trash pickup, just watch out if you leave it out as they also have racoons :D
