Came into Lake City from the south 149. What a beautiful valley. Watch the hill coming in use low gear or your brakes will overheat. The entire place was tall pine trees and spots with plenary space. We were guided to a spot with the river behind our site. Great location. Clean restrooms and friendly hosts. 24 hour ice from the honor chest. Same for the honor firewood pile. Would love to return for a week vs just one night passing thru.
