Lovely spot right on the beach for great camping. No hook ups but easy to dump, refill, and take hot showers down the road at Bodega Dunes. The beach is incredibly pretty and falling asleep to pounding surf was an extra bonus.

Wonderful place to camp but very hard to get reservations. Feels like beach camping. Please stay away from the water this is a deadly section of beach MANY deaths here.

This campground is spectacular. The coast from Goat rock beach down to Wright's Beach is one if the most beautiful in the world. All along this coast are little inlets and beaches to stop by and enjoy the scenery. The campground is a little neglected and needs some additional work to bring it up to workd class standards. There is no dump station at all and water is limited. For dumping of motorhome holding tanks it is necessary to go south to Bodega Dunes. Also many of the campsites need cleanup and during rainstorms campsites 9 snd 10 are flooded and have streams and mud flowing through them. The busiest campsites are 1-10 but other campsites are usually empty. They do have a camp board at the Ranger Station for campers to choose if needed. Often campers will pick one of the campsites from 11-21 and wait for an open campsite at 1-10. Campsite 4 is best protected from the wind and campsite 5 is the roomiest. There is no cell phone service in the campground but a short walk to Duncans landing has excellent cell phone service.

Beach on site, Clean toilets, camp host on site, stayed one night in camp then moved to overflow area, camp was full each night due to memorial weekend. Hiked along trail to Goats rock, lots of people walking, great views.
