This is an excellent CG. Clean and spacious. Level, FHU, gravel, pull-thru site. Cable doesn't have a lot of channels. WiFi worked well most of the time. Slowed down at times. Walking distance to the town. Plenty of laundry facilities and clean. Nice playground for the kids. This is our 2nd stay. We would stay here again.

| Maybe 4.5 stars

By user-6023460... on 2018-06-25.

Great location, just outside the west entrance to yellowstone. Within walking distance to everything in town if you choose to visit a local restaurant, store, or the Grizzly and Wolf Center. Also backs up to National Forest so it doesn't seem like it is in town. Great for taking morning or evening hikes or walking the dog, which is how they designed the park for dogs. Doggie bag dispensers near entrances to the forest paths. Crushed granite/gravel pads which are level. Cement pads and grass outside your door. Bathrooms, laundry room, lounge, and other public areas very nice. Very well designed and operated park. Safe choice for everyone. A bit expensive but par for this area.

Really well run and quiet campground. Friendly staff, plenty of close restrooms and showers. Designed very well. A little pricey for me, but they are to notch. Excellent showers and restrooms. Small sites, but really not a big problem. Would stay again.

| Almost a 5

By user-6186978... on 2018-06-25.

Immaculate and newer, well designed park. Shade will be amazing when trees mature. Upgrade the water heaters for showers and I'll give it a 5.

| Nice RV Park

By user-5463229... on 2018-06-25.

Very nice campground. Well maintained, clean sites. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Restrooms and showers appeared clean. Laundry facilities are decent, $2 wash, 25 cents per 10mins of drying time. Took over 60mins to dry small loads. Need updated appliances. Wifi is lacking, but they warn you about it. Need to run hubs around the park. Sites are level and gravel. Best thing is that your less than 1 mile from Yellowstone entrance, get to the gate early or you'll be in traffic lines for a good 20mins or so.

| Very clean

By user-5832235... on 2018-06-25. Stayed 2015-08-04 to 2015-08-06

Very nice park. Spaces had trees and were actually quite large. Within walking distance to downtown West Yellowstone and the IMax theater. Zipline Adventure Park was next door. Very clear restrooms, however there's a timer on the lights, if you are in there for more than a few minutes, the lights turn off. Bring a flashlight for your long showers.

| Best rv park Ever

Very well kept. Well laid out with plenty of clean bath houses. Great staff.

| Nice RV Campground

By user-5676457... on 2018-06-25.

Very clean and we'll kept. We stayed 12 days in a motor home in a premium RV space. Pull-throughs and other regular spaces had much more side yards. Premium sites are lined up across the street from an amusement park with loud speakers playing music. Would stay again but not in a premium space. We made our resevations 1 year in advance but staff refused to work with us upon arrival when we asked to select a site.

Excellent park that is very clean and well run. The park is bordered by national forest land to the south and West. This is a great place to walk your doggies, but make sure you carry bear spray. Voltage was very consistent at 119 volts. Water pressure was 55 psi. It's a nice walk to town with several restaurants and souvenir shops.

| Very Nice

Very nice, clean campground with everything you might want or need, even free coffee in the mornings! It's a little expensive being so close to Yellowstone but not bad at all compared to the other campgrounds around.

| Nice park

By user-6078441... on 2018-06-25. Stayed 2017-06-24 to 2017-07-01

Large spaces, wifi worked well, clean bathrooms and well spaced thru out the large park. Lots of grass for the pets. Very close to Yellowstone west entrance, maybe 4 long blocks. Nice wide roads, gravel pull thru's with nice concrete pads for chairs and tables. We were in newer section so the tree's were small, older section has more shade. But it was much cooler here so shade wasn't as important. Its such a large place last minute reservations appear to be very doable. We were able to get 7 nights a few days prior (end of june) Everyone else was booked.

By user-5905382... on 2018-06-25.

Nice park but the premium campsite we stayed in was backup up to a road and a large hardware store. The sprinkler system came on every night and had water hitting back of camper, which is our bedroom. Woke me up each night. Paid to much for location. Would go back, but not to that side of campground.

| Well maintained

By user-5397872... on 2018-06-25.

Plenty of trees. Nice green grass. Plenty of space between sites. Can accommodate larger rigs. Bathrooms were very clean. Strong wifi. Full 4G coverage (att). Borders national park with trails to walk dogs. Full hook ups. Picnic tables on concrete next to rv site. Very close to shops and stores but far enough that it is peaceful at night. Would Definitely recommend. Will be coming back.

We found that all the staff were very friendly and informative. Site was excellent, washrooms, showers very clean, price was the best we have seen in our travel across the Country, nice Town too. Would definitely stay again.. Great location for those wanting to explore Yellowstone Park - Paul and Cecile From Newfoundland and Labrafor

| Best Park in West Yellowstone

By user-6383991... on 2018-06-25. Stayed 2017-09-25 to 2017-10-03

Beautiful, well-laid out park, with both pull-through and back-in sites. There is forest on two sides with hiking trails. It is a short walk into town and less than a mile from the entrance into Yellowstone NP. I saw both bear and elk tracks while walking in forest so be sure to bring bear spray. Staff was very friendly. The office closes at 5pm but they post your site information on a bulletin board outside office if you arrive late. The on-site store has a nice, but small, selection of camping necessities and souvenirs. This is a great place to stay while visiting Yellowstone NP.

| Wonderful park

By user-6004773... on 2018-06-25.

Great facility. Nice and clean. Dog friendly. My dogs loved being off leash in the adjacent National Forest land. Internet is very limited and very slow. They only allow two internet connections per site. By far the best park in this area.

By user-5515156... on 2018-06-25.

Beautiful park! See snow pic. Great facilities and staff.

| Very nice place, pretty expensive

By user-5885491... on 2018-06-25.

We paid $75 per night in late May 2017 which seemed high. That said, the park was very nice, bathrooms were clean, showers were included. Walking distance to town, and less than a mile from the West entrance was nice.

| Best RV park !!

By user-5225094... on 2018-06-25.

From setting up our reservations over the phone to checking in the staff was WONDERFUL and make you feel very welcome! The park itself is beautiful and very clean, this is the nicest park we have been in cor quite some time. The park was very quiet and peaceful. I would highly recommend this park to anyone that wants to feel welcome and just relax it's just beautiful.

Made reservations in march for today for 5 nights for a " delux" site. We got a back in backed up to a heavily trafficked road with hardware store behind us and a busy zip line park. Baby trees facing west so no shade. That's not something I could tell on the website map. Friends booked two weeks ago and got a great space on the back backed u to forest! Glad they got that since made the recommendation. Unless on arrival I asked for something farther back fr, the road but apparently only if I stayed fewer days. Otherwise a beautiful park. Well maintained. If your looking for a wilderness feel tho, this isn't it.

If you want full hookups and no hassles this is the place for you. Easy access to West entrance of park. Town is great and has everything you need. VERY CLEAN NEAT AND TIDY... INCLUDING THE SHOWER. Friendly staff too. Going to Yellowstone park? You must try the Gaper Guide. We loved this device to assist us tour the park. We loved it. While everyone was rushing to Ole Faithful, this device brought us to the hidden gems. Get it at Free Wheel and Heel in West Yellowstone. I am not affiliated with them.

We just returned from a 50 day RV trip (3400 miles) where we stayed in 16 different RV parks. (anywhere from 1 night to 6 nights). We are rating them in relation to each other. This park is surrounded with woods with paths and dirt roads for walking your dogs. The park is large and very nice with ample room for big rigs. It is not a resort park. Very nice place to stay while visiting Yellowstone Park. West Yellowstone also has some interesting activities and good restaurants.

Clean park, patrolled. Plenty of bathhouses and laundry. Wifi iffy connection, cable ok but use antenna instead. Nice friendly town.

| Bad experience and would not return. See below

By user-6294965... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-06-01 to 2019-06-03

A group of us stayed at Grizzly RV because we had to for no other local park had space when we booked in Feb. Sites were not as long as stayed. When our toad bumper and one tire touched the street the park volunteered policy in their golf carts left a nasty gram to park our toad at the othe end of the park in guest parking. If the space was the listed length then we would have fit. Then the whole roll of rv,s we was in had backed up sewer lines and no one out working on them or notifying campers. Instead when we dumped the black tank sewage bumbled up on the ground. The last night you stay there you receive a email how now your family, but make sure you are off the property by 11AM. If you wanted to add a night you have to leave by 11 and can not return for your added night until 1PM. Really???? You lose the mid day in Yellowstone. Do yourself a favor, stay in KOA or Buffalo Crossing RV Park. We have stayed both are they are excellent compared to Grizzly RV. Will never again sacrifice and stay here again.

| Trouble with mosquitoes

By user-5788913... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-06-11 to 2019-06-14

Blame it on nature, but the mosquitoes on the Forest row were terrible. The worst I ve ever seen them. Kept us indoors every afternoon and night. Staff was friendly. Barely fit our car in front of our 32 MH. Very close to west entrance of Yellowstone.
