Nice campground located 20 miles west of Cody. Friendly staff. We had mechanical issues with our towed car and had to stay hear until the repairs were done.

Windy parking lot

Very windy. We stayed one night. Just gravel but had full hookups. No access to the nearby river and can't see it from the site we stayed in. Would not plan on staying here again. Expensive for what it was.

Stayed two nights at this park so we could tour Yellowstone and Cody. Staff is very friendly and helpful but as others have said it is just a big gravel parking lot and when it rains it is just a big mud lot but in their defense they did bring in two 10 yard loads of gravel to cover the worst areas. They do have a great all you can eat breakfast for $6.75 or $5.75 for children and recommend you take advantage of it. If doing it again since there is lots of DOI parks in the area probably would use them unless needed hookups.

They try to be accommodating but not very successful. Parked next to rude people and park owner did nothing to alleviate situation. Pets allowed but not pet friendly. If I come back, will look elsewhere.

Nice start to a Yellowstone trip!

Stopped here to ride out a storm on our way through Yellowstone. Friendly staff, very easy to park any size rig. Super clean showers, great place for a group or gathering.

BetweenYellowstone and Cody

If it raining it a mud hole but they do their best to fix with gravel. This is not the best we have been to and certainly not the worst. Compared to other parks it not as close and there is no problems with big rigs here, were 45 can't park toad directly behind but there was room. 20 miles to Yellowstone 17 to Cody. It is the last rv park to the East entrance. Breakfast Buffet ? I wasn't impressed with plastic utensils and paper plates for $11 bucks and cold. With a 17 mile drive and the same money eat at the Irma Hotel for the same $11 bucks. We planned all our meals around when we went to Cody.

We were treated very will. Our camp site is great. Awesome view!! We will be eat here tomorrow night. Went to Cody today and Yellowstone tomorrow.

Way too expenisve, gravel parking lot

We stayed four nights here thinking we could commute daily into Yellowstone to see the lower half. It was grueling. A bad decision. It took a good 2-3 hours one way to get into the park and to a point of interest. The sites are a tiny sliver of a huge, gravel parking lot. No grass, but plenty of weeds. The only reason for 2 stars (instead of one) is that the check in process was smooth and friendly, and we never felt that is was unsafe. If we return to this area and had to be close to the east entrance, I d try to find a site in one of the Shoshone National Forest campgrounds. Much closer to the YS entrance and a fraction of the cost. I believe the RV campground inside YS near Fishing Bridge will reopen in 2020. That would be an even better choice.

The park is big and spaces are a lil tight. Pricey for full hookups and being almost 30 miles away from town. Restaurant was not only not good, but very pricey. We got frozen veggies with dinner. Gross. Go to town and get a great steak for significantly less. Best part here is the hot tub. Showers were dirty. Laundry pricey.
