Reviews for Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort Guadalupe River

| Not what is advertised

Saloon says closes at 10 or 11 pm. Doesn't happen. Cars driving to Bar go too fast for safety of kids in park. Indoor pool was heated. It isn't. Dogs are not kept on leashes. Just a very noisy park.

I stay here at least twice a year. Well kept up park with a lovely area next to the river. Close to a park where you can swim in the river.

Beautiful park right on the river. Lots of open areas by the river with plenty of activities, including an onsite saloon.

This could be a great park to stay at but for one major issue. There is a bar / honkeytonk in the middle of it. On Friday and most Saturday nights they have a band on the outdoor stage. VERY VERY VERY LOUD!!! If you expect to sleep before midnight you must be deaf first.

If you are unlucky enough to get parked next to the party trailer, don't expect security to enforce quiet time even after complaining.

We stayed here for 6 days. Park does have a lot of amenities but some where closed when we stayed. We stayed on a premium pull thru which was concrete. Our site had a fire pit. The park was quiet during the week but noise levels picked up on the weekends which was expected.

This park is awesome. The lower level spots don't have trees and are gravel but still are level. The premium spots are fabulous. Don't waste extra money for a "riverfront" spot as you are a good 100-300 yards from the Guadalupe River at best. The staff is super friendly and attentive and they are is always a "Ranger" around for you to talk to. Don't forget that the price includes full admission to the water park, water slides, miniture golf, Guadalupe River, two bounce balloons, basketball and volleyball courts,v and others free activities. It's truly a playground for the kids and adults. There is so much to do and worth every cent you spend. It's easy to make camp buddies and link up throughout your stay. The only drawback is that renovations are still being made and many of the cheaper spots need updates as well as some of the bathrooms. If you are in Kerrville, TX or within driving distance, this is the place to stay!

You pay a pretty penny to stay here but when you have a large family and you need to fight the heat, this is where to go. The water park is pretty great for kids 14ish and under. There is a great miniature golf course and many, many, many other activities. Plus the river runs through the park and it's at a shallow spot so you can little the little ones go in with no problems. I could go on and on about this park but if you have kids, and you have the money, stay here. Trust me, you won't forget it.
