| Fun for the kids
We took our grandson here and he enjoyed all the amenities. The pool and waterpark in the new section are really nice, but the waterslides in the old section rock (much more fun than the ones in the new section). I liked that 95% of the activities were included in the campground fee and I think the costs are reasonable when you consider that. HOWEVER, as a campground we didn't have the best time. We were given a spot right near the entrance and dumpster site so there was traffic all day, everyday. They make it clear that quiet hours (to include NO VEHICULAR TRAFFIC) are from 11pm to 7am, but I can tell you they aren't terribly strict about that. We were woken up by the trash truck at 4am. That sucker was loud as it bumped/slammed and beep-backed up to empty the four dumpsters. If we ever come back, we will make sure to be as far away from the entrance as possible.

The whole family can join in a round of mini-putt, catch some entertainment in our outdoor theatre, or see who the last one standing is after a game of wilderness paintball! Hiking trails and spots to fish are great for those who love the outdoors, and children always have a blast at our playgrounds! Even the local area is filled with interesting activities, from white water rafting, to the Caddie Shak Family Fun Center and Living Treasures Animal Park. Restaurants, antique and craft shops are all just a short distance away. We've kept in mind that families who go camping are the kind of families who like to do things together.
