Reviews for Yucaipa Regional Park

| Plenty of Play

We stayed here in January 2015, and enjoyed the park. The kids loved the different playground areas, and the park was clean. Everyone went fishing, which they enjoyed, and we look forward to coming back to enjoy the waterslides during the summer. The kids brought their scooters, and there was plenty of space for them to ride. The spaces were good sized, and you didn't feel like you were right up against someone's campsite.

| Beautiful park

This is a very large, beautiful park. RV camping is just a small part of it. Also large fishing ponds, swimming are with large water slides (summer only), hiking trail, covered picnic areas, and more. RV spots are paved and level with picnic table and BBQ. Most importantly, you aren't breathing down your neighbors neck like so many campgrounds. There's space and privacy between spots. We loved it here and are definitely coming back.

| Not so good before Memorial Day weekend.

We visited the park for the first time this past weekend. We stayed on a group site that was set up by another camper in our group so we did not know anything about the park before going except that they had some waterslides. It was a hot weekend and we have young kids. To our surprise the lagoon/pool slide area was completely closed. The water was perfectly clean and taunting us for the 4 days we were there. So unfortunately we had to fill up a small pool in our campgrounds to keep the kids at bay. My second complaint about this park was the playgrounds. We went to the lower playground near the lake and our kids could not play on it because it was infested with spider webs. Seriously it doesn't take much to brush it all off and maintain it, but I guarantee it wasn't touched in at least 6 months. I saw plenty of employees there that could have spent some time on it so that people could enjoy the amenities. Those were my biggest complaints about this park. I'm not sure if I would even go back with the water park being open. I could see it being very crowded since the park is open to day visitors.

| Great Park

County park with spacious sites with concrete pads, tables and BBQ grill. Many sites have trees for summer shade. Very dog friendly. Low numbered sites have more trees and pull throughs but are closer to road with more noise. Higher numbers at the other end are much quieter. No wifi in the park. Nice bathrooms but no laundry facilities. Lots of grass and space between sites. Would definitely stay here again.

Despite the fire that started while we were there, this park is beautiful. Very easy to park your trailer or rig, and very clean. Nice to do a weekend, but I would not stay a week. They need more activities; they only have fishing, swimming and hiking. No Wifi or tv reception, no store or laundry facilities. I thought the park was pretty quiet. All-in-all, I would do this park again for a weekend stay. Very relaxing.

We have stayed here twice now and love it. Spacious, very clean showers and restrooms, very quiet, loved the water park area and fishing.
