Didn't expect to find such a nice campground in the desert. When we arrived at 2pm the sign said "camp full". Even the lady at the visitor center told us there would be no space left. But we got a campsite anyways so just try it. - simple toilets - no showers - close to city & river - very hot but there are many trees for shade - has drinking water
This campground is clean and so convenient for getting into Zion National Park. At $20 a night it felt like a real bargain. The visitors center, shuttle and shopping are within walking distance. Watchman campground, which requires reservations, is much nicer if you can get in.
Was so happy to get in for a 2 night stay at a beautiful, busy park. It was convenient to trails, visitor center and shuttle buses.
