Transportation Alert
When planning your visit to Two Harbors, please be aware that boat travel to and from Two Harbors aboard the Catalina Express operates on a limited schedule during the fall and winter. There is no Catalina Express service to or from Two Harbors on Tuesday or Thursday.
Two Night Minimum
We require a two-night minimum stay on Friday and Saturday night during our peak season (Memorial Day weekend through October 31st) in Two Harbors, Little Harbor, and Hermit Gulch Campgrounds. If hiking the Trans-Catalina Trail, please call our office at 310.510.4205 to waive the two-night minimum.
Conservancy Discount
To redeem your Catalina Conservancy discount, please call the Two Harbors Visitor Service Center at 310.510.4205 or email our office at visitorservices@scico.com. Please make sure that your membership is valid. To renew, purchase, or retrieve information regarding Catalina Conservancy memberships, please visit catalinaconservancy.org.
Book Trail
is your booking option if you would like to hike across the island and setup camp on more than one location during your stay.
You may book a different location each night (availability permitting). If you are not planning to do this, don't use this portal and go back to the standard booking option.
Campsite Booking
This option lets you book a campsite at a single location on the island for your RV or tent.
If you would like to hike the island and stay over at multiple locations during your stay please use the Trail Booking Option.
Loading available sites
If you do not choose to pay the locking fee, the park reserves the right to place you on any site of the same type (or above). Customers are still able to make requests for areas of the park, but they are not guaranteed. If you are reserving as part of a group please indicate the names of all other families in your party in the "notes" area. We will keep all members of your party as close together as possible, given the park's availability at the time of your booking and site types chosen by the group members.

Assumption of Risk and Waiver of Liabilities
Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult who assumes full responsibility at all times.
PERMITTEE acknowledges that the area over which this permit is granted is a wild lands area, containing, without limitation, wild bison, rattlesnakes, and other wildlife, rough terrain, trails and roads, and other conditions which are intrinsic to the environment and locale, all of which may be dangerous and /or hazardous to life, limb and property.
Caution Bison are wild animals. Bison are large wild animals that can cause serious injury and even death. They can accelerate quickly to 35 mph and jump over 6 feet. Never approach, touch, or attempt to feed bison. If you feel threatened, identify an escape route. Place a large object between you and the bison (tree, rock, vehicle), and give the bison a path to avoid you. Never box in a bison with people being both in front and behind it. PERMITTEE voluntarily accepts and assumes all such risks of personal injury, wrongful death, or property damage.
PERMITTEE, by acknowledging these terms and conditions, for himself/herself, his/her heirs, executors, successors and assigns, waives and releases any and all claims, demands or rights of action, in law or in equity, known or unknown against SANTA CATALINA ISLAND COMPANY, SANTA CATALINA ISLAND AND CONSERVANCY, and THE DEPARTEMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, LOS ANGELES COUNTY and their officers, directors, members, agents and employees for any loss, damage or injury of any kind whatsoever, to himself/herself or to his/her property or to the property of others, occurring from any cause whatsoever, arising directly or indirectly out of exercise of any right granted by this permit, unless the same be attributable to the gross negligence or willful misconduct of SANTA CATALINA ISLAND CO., SANTA CATALINA ISLAND CONSERVANCY, or DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION, LOS ANGELES COUNTY, their officers, directors, members, agents or employees.
PERMITTEE understands that this is a release of PERMITTEE’S right to sue.
WARNING If Catalina is experiencing adverse weather conditions, there is a possibility of trail, road, and campground closures. High winds could result in Express Boat cancellations. Please watch the weather.
Camping Rules
Check-in time is 2 pm.
Check-out time is 11 am.
Quiet hours: 10 pm to 9 am.
Loud or amplified sound and music, including radios, are not permitted at any time.
In accordance with the LA County Fire Code, fires and smoking are permitted in the BBQ and fire ring areas only.
Wood cutting, plant collecting or in any way removing or defacing any natural or man-made feature is prohibited.
LA County Ordinance 602(a) P.C. and 602(b) will be strictly enforced.
Firearms, archery equipment, traps or other hunting equipment are strictly prohibited.
Please leave campsite litter free with refuse in the trash containers.
All plants and animals are protected. Buffalo and other wildlife are unpredictable; keep your distance.
No Pets are allowed at Two Harbors and Hermits Gulch Campground. Dogs must be on a leash
