Reviews for Kingman KOA

| Not bad

By user-6065427... on 2017-10-23.

Well maintained with friendly staff and good facilities.; great wifi coverage; some spaces are a little narrow, but I think they are more for overnighters, which we were. Would stay here again. No pickleball court.

| A nice stop

We got in after dark so the park was pretty full. To get to the park you drive through residential streets. the sites and roadways were tight for our 33ft with tow vehicle. not a lot of extra room getting through the park but doable. Hot tub jets was not working during this visit.. Alternating directions on the pull through so you share the hook up with you neighbor, which isn't bad unless your neighbor accidentally unplugs your electrical...

| Lovely flowering hedges, privacy, but NARROW!!!

So far this is the prettiest campground we've been to. The flowering hedges were about 6 feet high or so, and between every campsite and along the front of the park. Gave great privacy, lots of birds twittering. Don't know if the flowers bloom for long--probably not quite as pretty without the flowers. Downsides: NO breeze because of bushes. Our AC is too loud when it kicks on for me to use at night, and even with a strong fan, it was so hot I only got an hour sleep. I would never stay here again during warmer months unless I had really, really good AC. But winter months are probably nice. Also I wouldn't stay long, or with a big rig: our older class A has no slideouts, but there was only about 4 feet on one side and 3 feet on the other between the motorhome and the hedges. No real room for the kids to play, and picnic tables have to be at the end of the hedgerow--very inconvenient. I can't imagine staying there with large slideouts! Had the flowering hedges not been so pretty, I'd have probably gone with 3 stars because of the narrow lots. Narrowest I've seen yet. If the lots had been a LOT wider, I'd have given an extra star. KOA store seemed well-stocked, but I only glanced at it. Didn't have time to check out any of the amenities. Overall, a lovely park to stay in before it gets too hot, for just a night or two, and if you don't plan to spend time outside your rv.

| Nice staff nice cabin great stay

By user-5794744... on 2017-10-23.

We were travelling in a small camper van. They only have pull-through sites therefore the receptionist recommended we take a cabin which was cheaper. The cabin did not have any hook-up amenities but was a beautiful wooden room with a refrigerator and even a microwave oven. The park was more crowded then the ones we stayed at before on this journey but still far from full. Most of the other visitors seemed to have been snowbirds and all of the were really nice people and we did a lot of talking.

| Nice Park

We were 43' with a toad. Had no problem navigating through the park. Spent just one night and was able to keep the toad hooked up. Spaces were nice and level with packed dirt/small rock. I would stay again when passing thru.

| Narrow sites, but otherwise OK

Stayed one night in October 2016. Sites were sandy and dry, but that is AZ. Nice park.

| Just a little disappointed

I stayed at the Kingman AZ site 108 I would like to say the staff on duty tried to address my issues. paid for Stand alone water point had to use and disconnect from the tee that had the other camper line. I did hook up the water and reconnected them the next morning. I felt uncomfortable doing this. I paid for cable no line for me to hook up. I would have expected a small credit none was offered. I took the time to stop and report before I left. The night employee stated it was reported. The person didn t know anything about it.

Great KOA. We only stayed one night but would definitely consider staying longer. We liked all the mature landscaping and space between each site. The best KOA we've stayed at from that perspective. Amenities were good, clean and functional. Staff was very helpful, especially at check-in despite our 8pm arrival time. Only oddity was the sewer connections in our pull-thru row...there were two per site, which was interesting, but they were at the front and middle of the sites. Not so great for those of us with travel trailers with rear sewer hoses. Some folks in our party stayed in their "Deluxe cabin - Lodge" which was a brand new mobile home with full kitchen, two TVs, bunks, queen master bedroom, etc. Super nice.

Very nice and quiet park. The staff was very helpful and the location was very clean and well-kept, we really enjoyed our stay and wish we could have stayed a bit longer - we will be back for sure!
