| Nice!

By user-5844253... on 2017-10-23.

Helpful and friendly staff. Clean bathrooms. Level sites. Good store. Good breakfast and dinner in their small cafe--will deliver to your campsite. Could use more trees and green grass but hey, it's arid New Mexico.

Spent four nights here in January 2015 waiting for a bad snowstorm to pass Staff was awesome, even delivered an extension ladder to my site so I could get a foot of snow off my slides. They offer breakfast and dinner simple but good menu and will even deliver to your site Very close to Tucumcari and we had great grub at KIX 66, The cleanest diner I have ever been in.

| Old Park, but still pretty good

By user-6218339... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-09-14 to 2016-09-15

This is an old park, but kept up pretty good. All gravel, but no dust problem. Wide, level sites. Showers and restrooms were very clean. This is a fairly large park and pet friendly. You are required, as you should, to clean up after your pet. There are no pet waste disposal centers and bags available. This is no real big deal, but there is only one trash bin in the entire park which is located by the office. Expecting people to walk a quarter mile with one little bag of poop is a bit much. Gee, put out a few trash cans people!

| Great overnight

| Old but still nice

By user-6238113... on 2017-10-23.

We stop here on our way out and into NM on I-40. Sites are level and long enough to hold our 40'MH and towed PU. 50 amp service is decent even in hot weather. This last stop we got the paved site....unfortunately it faced south so the sun beat on one windshield all afternoon...my fault...should have asked for a north facing site...staff friendly and shows you to your site... Same complaint about dumpster though....only one in the park and it's a walk...

By user-5799844... on 2017-10-23.

Right off 40 very nice owners! Gravel sites with grass! Long pull thru didn't have to unhook motor coach pulling. We stayed just over night! Got in nice clean pool! Meet a few very nice people. Enjoyable overnight.

| Nice campground

By user-5898887... on 2017-10-23. Stayed 2016-05-08 to 2016-05-09

We stayed overnight in a 40' fifth wheel. We were surprised how nice the campground was, nicer than other KOAs we've stayed at. Our pull-through site was extremely long. We were able to fit our rig, tow vehicle and car on the driveway and still have room to spare. There is a cafe on site that serves breakfast and dinner. You can eat in or take out; they will even deliver to your rig upon request. The campground is close to I-40 but far enough away that we heard no highway noise. The pull-through are gravel but there is grass between the sites. The campground is a short distance from the Tucumcari business district. We would stay here again.

| AWESOMELY COMFORTABLE!!!!!!!!

By user-6490110... on 2017-10-23.

A great rv park for any situation. Quiet, even though close to I 40. Owner managed and maintained, they left a two way radio on front door if they was away, and they will COOK YOUR BREAKFAST AND BRING IT TO YOUR RV......TEN STARS

Good spaces, all the hookups you need. Clean. Will use it again.

| Rude staff and no staying longer than a week!

By user-5331871... on 2018-05-17.

When I called staff was rude when I asked about staying weekly or monthly. I travel for work and have a nice rig. I offered to pay the nightly rate and was told I couldn’t stay more than a week anyway. Really.

| Perfect stop and great service

By anonymous-user on 2018-05-17.

I stay here at least twice sometimes 3 times each summer on my journey from Arizona to Michigan. I have nothing but good things to say about the owners and their staff. The light is always on when I arrive and the heat or air is perfect. The pups love the cabin we stay in and I would not trade it for the world.

| Very quiet

By user-5780045... on 2018-05-17. Stayed 2018-05-14 to 2018-05-15

Very friendly staff, nice gift area, and also has a restaurant menu. The pool wasn't filled when we were there but really didn't have time to swim anyway. All gravel lots and very quiet. Would stop again if in the neighborhood

| Very Nice Overnight Stay

By user-5770611... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-08-26 to 2018-08-27

NIce place for an overnight; plenty of areas to walk pups plus a small fenced in dog area too; grills and picnic tables at each site; trees interfered with dish but they had cable; also have a restaurant and a small store on site; pool and a playground; rabbits everywhere!! Level gravel spaces and easy to maneuver a 45ft motorcoach around. Would stay again for sure!

| Good overnight stay

By user-5499025... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-08-26 to 2018-08-28

Basic KOA with everything you need for a nice nights stay ( full hookup and cable). Clean restrooms and showers. We didn t try the onsite restaurant.

| Nice stay!

By user-4519230... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-10-09 to 2018-10-10

Nice place to overnite or longer. The sites are packed gravel and are mostly level so setup is easy. Amenities are good and the staff is excellent. Give the onsite restaurant a try as they deliver to you site and the meals are reasonable and tasty.

| Nothing special, but good enough

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2018-09-29 to 2018-09-30

Level sites with full hookups. A little close together with no shielding barriers, but even though it s close to the freeway, it s surprisingly quiet, friendly host, even offers home cooked meals.

| Nice KOA

Quite and nice level sites right off the freeway. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had breakfast in the on site restaurant which was great. They will also deliver to your site.

| Run down and not overly friendly.

By user-5260838... on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-06-03 to 2019-06-04

Owner needs to remember he is in the hospitality business and try to be hospitable. Nothing special but not much else around and they act like it.

| Great Place to Stay!

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-07-03 to 2019-07-04

Clean, level parking pads, with plenty of space between camp sites. Each site has a picnic table, and we had full hookups - we used a 50 amp site. We stayed in site 43 and had a magnificent view of the mountains, and a beautiful sunset. Easy convenient full hookups, offering water, sewer, electric, and Cable TV. Park offers the KOA cafe, serving breakfast from 8-9:30 am serving pancakes, biscuits and gravy, biscuit sandwiches, omelets and coffee - and dinner from 4:30-6:30pm serving hamburgers, sandwiches, pizza, chicken tenders. Staff was super friendly and helpful, and escorted us to our camp site. Wish we could have stayed in the area longer. This will be our "Go To" park when we travel through this area again.

| Not One of the Better KOA's

By user-unknown on 2019-08-09. Stayed 2019-07-11 to 2019-07-12

We reserved a spot here for one night as we traveled on East I40. Check in was easy. You can see the park needs a lot of work. Our site was level with full hook ups, but very skimpy on gravel. Most of the sites and roads need gravel. We could tell it had rained at some point before we arrived because there were mud puddles. Several of the sites that had concrete pads were red clay on both sides and the entry and exit. Site size was ok. One of my issues with most RV parks is, if you advertise Wi-Fi then it should be able to be connected to any where in the park and should be something better than less than 1 mb per second... I'm not sure how this park won a KOA President's Award in 2019 based on my experience. I definitely would not stop here again if traveling through.
